A large group of 29 people got together and we went sledding in Spanish Fork Canyon on Diamond Fork Road. The original plan was to go to Daniels Summit and have snowmobiles there to pull sledders up the hill, but last minute there were some technical difficulties with the snowmobile trailer so they weren’t able to make it. We still had a great time. It was an extremely fast hill/mountainside!
It was hard to stay on the sled at the bottom
I went so far that I would have gone into the stream if I hadn't bailed
Some of us stayed on fairly well
But they didn't get all the way to the bottom of the hill
There was a lot of watching the brave ones risking life and limb for some entertainment
Nick and I went down a differnet hill that was even steeper and higher
At about this point I was thinking that we were going fast enough to get all the way to the highway in the distance
But we hit a soft bit of snow on the shady side of a bush and our ride was quickly ended
Luckily it was a soft bit of snow because Nick totally face planted

I tried to stay on, but the bottom is too bumpy and I ended up finishing the run off without the sled
